I have completed processing the photographs from the trip. I am attaching two of Wesley and I with your family to this email. Greetings from David and Gayle in New York City. We hope you are all doing well. We think of you often and fondly recall our trip though South India with you and Keshav. We had a wonderful stay in Hyderabad. Of course, the city and the surrounding area have changed monumentally since I was there 40 years ago. But we went back and visited old sites, the Osmania University-where I took classes, and the villages 20 miles east of Hyderabad where I had done some field research when I was there. I was amazed at how much the villages have changed. Forty years ago we would walk 5-10 miles over muddy roads to get to the villages. Now there is a Bollywood filming studio near them. After we stayed in Hyderabad, David flew home but I joined another group in Dehli and that was also very enjoyable. David has been very busy with his business. Though we did take several weeks to go out to the Midwest to sell the family farm in Iowa and to travel through Minnesota and the Dakotas. We reminisce often about our trip through South India with you. When we have some free time we hope we can do the same in North India!
Please give our greetings to Mr. Keshav and our best to your lovely wife, your beautiful daughter and your handsome son.

sorry if I'm late in writing to you, since I came back to Italy I was very
busy! Just few words to say that everything went allright and that we finally
managed to do all the tour that we discussed with you...Arungabad -
Bijapur - Hampy (through Pattadakal and Aihole) - Mysore - Mudumlay - Fort
Kochin - Varkala - back waters - Goa and Panjim.
Kishoor (I don't know how to write his name, sorry) was a very good driver,
very patient and helpful, more than a driver I would say!!! He helped us in
many situations, say thank you to him.

Hello Mr. Ekbote,
First of all sorry for keeping you waiting on the mail I promised you. But we had a few problems with our internetconnection, which finally seems to be solved now. We arrived well back home in Belgium, where we picked up again the daily life rather quickly. My wife Marijke and I would like to thank you once more for the good service you provided us during our 14-days stay in India. We were very pleased with your good driver Kishor, who not only prooved to be an excellent driver, but was also very helpful and concerned about our well-being. Due to your services, we managed to explore a greater part of India than we originally had planned to do by public transport. Also the hotels were very satisfactory. Maybe we come back once more to India, we do not know yet, but if we do, we will certainly let you know.
